In order to become a member to AIRCA
operators (legal or physical entities) must present all necessary documentation
listed below:
1. Certificate
of State Registry.
2. Statute of Organization.
3. Application for membership.
4. Sign a Declaration of Engagement.
Together
with membership haulers must transfer Guarantee Deposit to AIRCA bank account,
which now amounts USD8000.
The membership fee is AMD50000/100000 for each own and rented vehicle respectively. Members
must also pay annual fee AMD 60000/80000 respectively for each vehicle which worked under TIR
System that year.
Armenia
joined TIR Convention in 27 of September 1993 by the Decision of Armenian
Parliament. For the implementation of TIR Convention provisions “Association
of International Road Carriers of Armenia” (AIRCA) was founded in 1998, which
was recognazed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia and IRU as TIR
Carnets issuing and guaranteeing organization. In 1999 AIRCA became IRU member.
On 20th March 2001 AIRCA began its activity as TIR Carnets issuing Association.
The introduction of TIR System in Armenia has significantly assisted to international
haulairs and their integration. The introduction of TIR System is of vital
importance for Armenian economy development, TIR System has much facilitated
transit through Georgia and enabled transit through Iran to Middle Asian Republics.
As a result transportation decreased and the quality, security and time of
transport improved.

Operators
must have appropriate vehicles.
The Inter-Departmental
Commission formed by the Decision N 670 of October 26, 1999 of the Government
of Armenia examines the goods compartments of the vehicles (containers, trailers,
semi trailer). Goods compartments must conform to specifications set out in
TIR Convention.

Training
of international haulers, issuance of the international Certificate of Porfessional
Competence (CPC)
AIRCA has a Training Centre, where all drivers engaged
in TIR System must be trained. All drivers passed the exams recieve Certificates.
Training Centre has qualified lecturers who has passed training courses organized
by IRU and Scott Willson & Kirkpatrick.
The cost of training course is AMD 30000*

Making
out applications and necessary documents for obtaining drivers' visas engaged
in international goods transportation
AIRCA assists its member haulers in obtaining visas,
prepares all necessary applications and letters.
